Where do you put the microwave oven?
Except for the kitchen, which has a built-in microwave oven, it is a microwave oven that has a problem about where to put it. I don’t want to put the microwave oven in a visible place, but I often use it, so it’s inconvenient to hide it. I searched for various microwave oven shelves, but I didn’t like one, so I decided to make one.

It is a microwave oven shelf made using dowel joints. I use books in the lower row and bread and sweets in the upper basket.
Structure to dissipate heat from the microwave oven
Some modern microwave ovens can be attached to the wall, but they require a distance because they generate heat during use. Since the microwave oven shelves we made this time have a narrow space, we put a vertical grid to release heat. Also, I try not to put much stuff on the side.
Designed to fit easily with other furniture
The range shelf has the same height as the table I own, so it looks great when connected. This table is easy to move, so when I want to hide the range, I connect the desk and range shelf and the range becomes less noticeable.
Neat design around the outlet
An outlet for power is embedded in the microwave oven shelf. As you can open and close it as shown in the photo, you can easily clean it and change the outlet connection. I made a notch in the place where the cable passes, so the wiring is neat.
Sense of unity with furniture made separately
The wall storage that I made earlier and the range shelf are made of beech wood, giving a sense of unity. The top plate on the microwave oven shelf can also be used as a table.
