Horrible pests come to my copse garden
Pests such as wasps and wild boars often come to my copse garden. Even if I want to get rid of it, it is scary to approach, but I have to get rid of the pests. I need to go for spraying, but since hornets are really scary, made a spray that can be operated remotely.
Materials for device to remotely control pests
An electric water gun is used to spray the insecticide. (It is a mechanism to move the trigger by using the rack and pinion gear well.)
A radio transmitter/receiver for remotely moving the electric water gun and swinging motion. In addition to having 2 channels, it is a 2.4G wireless transceiver. It worked well even about 20 meters away.
The picture below is a speed reducer. Speed of the motor is too fast, so we will use it to reduce the speed. This is a speed reducer that can greatly reduce the speed of 1/5000. It is possible to lower the rotation speed by electrically lowering the voltage, but the torque also decreases. On the contrary, if you mechanically reduce the rotation speed, it is possible to reduce the rotation speed while increasing the torque. As the contents are like plastic model parts, assemble them. Use the motor included with this set.

Create remote extermination of pests
Since there are two transceiver channels, one channel is connected to the battery terminal of the electric water gun and the electric water gun is turned on/off to control the injection. The other channel was connected to the gearbox motor so that the electric water gun could be swung left and right.
One of the two channels, extend the positive and negative terminals from the terminals of the battery case (without batteries) of the electric water gun and connect them to the terminals of the receiver. When the power is turned on and off with the transceiver, the electric water gun moves and continuously jets or stops.
Another of the two channels is connected to the motor of the speed reducer to turn the turning motion ON/OFF. I connected the battery box to the receiver and put it in the case.
How to use remote pest control
The remote control device for pests and harmful animals was attached to the mounting plate as a unit. For example, the hornet’s beehive, one of the pests, can be on trees or in the soil. In addition, it may be on a slope. There will be various places where pests often stop by. Therefore, I decided to use a ladder as the base. It will be easy to install at various heights and locations. This mounting plate is used by clamping it to a ladder or stepladder. Also, I think it is interesting to attach it to a drone and fly it.
In addition, we plan to use a smartphone camera set to capture the real-time image so that it can be easily aimed at the injection destination. A smartphone at that time is also installed on this mounting plate and used so that it is easy to remotely aim at the target.
Use water as the liquid for spraying, such as water for harmful beasts, and pyrethroids for exterminating beehives, depending on the application.
